The Red Lion SLX-8MS-1 is an 8-port managed industrial Ethernet switch designed for industrial network connectivity, offering network management capabilities, redundant power inputs and a wide operating temperature range.
Featuring eight 10/100BaseTX RJ-45 ports, the SLX-8MS-1 provides Ethernet communication for compatible industrial network devices. The switch supports automatic speed sensing, duplex and MDIX functions, together with store-and-forward switching technology. Its rugged DIN-rail enclosure is suited to industrial installations requiring manageable Ethernet connectivity.
Industrial Ethernet Connectivity
The SLX-8MS-1 supports up to 2,048 MAC addresses and includes a configurable alarm contact. Redundant 10-30 VDC power inputs provide an additional power connection arrangement, while the specified operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C allows the switch to be considered for demanding installation environments.
Network Management Capabilities
The switch includes management functions such as SNMP, RMON, VLAN, STP and RSTP. It also supports traffic management technologies, multicast management and several administration interfaces, including HTTPS, SSH, Modbus/TCP and CLI.
