The APM Shunt Panel Meter is a digital panel meter specifically designed to be used in conjunction with a shunt where precise and accurate DC current measurement is required. The APM Shunt Meter measures to an accuracy of 0.1% of the signal or 0.5mV (whichever is greater).
The APM Shunt Meter is the ideal panel meter for low-side DC current measurement in applications such as marine, leisure or material handling. It can also be used in industrial applications, including power supplies, load banks and charging systems. It is non-isolated from the supply voltage and intended for use on low-side DC applications only. It has a high-resolution 0-1VDC input and two output models, digital and analog, for integration with other systems in the process.
As well as precision DC current measurement, the Shunt Meter helps increase productivity and improve safety by making it easy to know when currents have reached a critical point with its programmble color-changing display which combines the best of both traditional-analog and modern-digital meters. It features a 40 segment bar-graph scale for instant recognition and a starburst display for precise readings and messaging.
The LCD backlit screen has a wide viewing angle and comes in negative or positive options, for improved visibility in almost any condition.
The APM shunt meter can be used right out of the box with 15 pre-programmed configurations that cover a range of applications. Alternatively, the Shunt Meter is easily programmable. Using the free-to-download APM configuration software, it can be tailored to display critical parameters exactly how the user requires. Set points can be customised to trigger the LCD screen to change color, flash, display a message, or all three at once – alerting the operator whenever a parameter is out of range.
